Videos
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
The original 1982 movies that started it all. Fun to watch and definitely worth having as part of your Buffy video collection.
Music
Surfacing by Sarah McLaughlin
Contains the haunting song that played over the final few moments of The Becoming, Part Two as well as some other great songs. Highly recommended.
Other Vampire Books
Dracula
The classic horror novel that began the vampire legends. If you're like me, you've probably seen a million different
screen versions of this novel without having read it. I read it a few years ago and the novel was much better than most of
the film versions.
Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles
These books definitely influence the ways vampires are portrayed in the series. (Joss has, however, given the legend his own
special twist!) I recommend the first two books whole heartedly. The other three are for die hard vampire fans.
Interview with the Vampire
The Vampire Lestat
Queen of the Damned
Tale of the Body Thief
Memnoch the Devil
Other Books I Recommend
She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb
Easily one of the better novels I've read in quite some time. It's the story of Delores Price and the triumphs and
tragedies she faces in her life. Great summer time reading by the pool or at the beach.
